United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs

OCHA is the part of the United Nations Secretariat responsible for bringing together humanitarian actors to ensure a coherent response to emergencies. OCHA also ensures there is a framework within which each actor can contribute to the overall response effort.

      Number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and number of persons killed and wounded during Ukraine war conflict since mid-April 2014 compiled from UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs  (UN OCHA) situation reports. Numbers are a conservative estimates of the UN Human Rights Mission in Ukraine (HRMU) and World Health Organization (WHO) based on available official data: HRMU and WHO believe that the actual numbers of fatalities are considerably higher.
