The National Institute of Statistics of Equatorial Guinea (INEGE) has as its mission the coordination of the National Statistical System, and the generation and dissemination of useful and quality statistical information with the purpose of facilitating the monitoring and evaluation of the country's socio-economic development.

      The average inflation rate in the month of November 2022 is 4.7% , higher than that registered in the same period of the previous year (-0.4%. This increase was mainly due to the positive contribution of the groups Food products and non-alcoholic beverages (2.7%); Transportation (0.7%); Alcoholic beverages and tobacco (0.6%); Furniture, household equipment and current household maintenance and Health with 0.2% each, Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels and Restaurants and hotels with 0.1% each.
