Argentina Steel Chamber

The Argentine Steel Chamber began its activities in June 1945, under the name of "Centro de Industriales Siderúrgicos" (CIS). It brings together all the steel companies that produce steel in the country. They are large companies that are part of very important business groups, both national and international.

      During translation of the dataset, we modified some indicator names in accordance with generally accepted terminology within the steel industry as published in outlets such as world steel's Steel Statistical Yearbook. For the indicator “No Planos (1)," no direct variant was available; we renamed it “Other hot rolled products”.
